life stealing mesmer/necro
I liked life stealing a lot, so Im thinking about this build.
Mesmer/Necromancer
Attributes:
12 Blood Magic
12 Inspiration Magic
3 Fast Casting (P)
Soul Leech (elite) - Blood Magic
Life Siphon - Blood Magic
Ether Feast - Inspiration Magic
Channeling - Inspiration Magic
Vampiric Gaze - Blood Magic
Power Drain - Inspiration Magic
Demonic Flesh - Blood Magic
Unholy Feast - Inspiration Magic
I havent played yet, but here it is. Thanks for the input guys.

i had that idea also, this was my layout.
Class: Necromancer / Mesmer
Assumed items:
+1 to Soul Reaping
+2 to Blood Magic
Attributes: (cost)
Soul Reaping: 10+1 (61)
Blood Magic: 12+2 (97)
Inspiration Magic: 8 (37)
Total attribute points used: 195/200
Skills:
1) Channeling (availability) - (5,1,15) For 33 seconds, whenever you cast a spell, you steal 1 energy from each nearby foe.
2) Shadow Strike (availability) - (10,2,8) Target foe takes 46 shadow damage. If that foe's health is above 50%, you steal 46 health.
3) Barbed Signet (availability) - (0,2,30) Sacrifice 10% max health. You steal 58 health from target foe.
4) Soul Leech (availability) (elite) - (10,2,15) For 10 seconds, whenever target foe casts a spell you steal 76 health from that foe. This is an elite skill.
5) Vampiric Gaze (availability) - (10,1,5) Steal 58 health from target foe.
6) Unholy Feast (availability) - (15,1,30) Steal 38 health from each nearby foe.
7) Vampiric Touch (availability) - (15,34,5) Touch target foe to steal up to 70 health.
8) Life Siphon (availability) - (10,2,2) For 24 seconds, target suffers health degeneration of 3 and you gain health regeneration of 3.

oh yeah, forgot about barbed signet and channeling. Im still kinda confused about what inspiration skills to use though. Btw why soul reaping?

as I recall, Power drain gains you energy, so cyris is ok in that respect, but SuperJ, i think with your build there you are slightly too energy intensive, and i'd advise slipping in some form of energy steal/gain.
